Bathroom and Kitchen — Malabia

Full renovation of the kitchen and bathroom of an apartment in the Palermo neighborhood, with complete demolition of both rooms, a full overhaul of the electrical and plumbing systems, and a checkerboard ceramic tile floor design (beige, yellow and gray) developed specifically for the project.

The kitchen was designed with a central island, a continuous countertop over the existing water-heater niche, and a splash-style backsplash in the cooking area. The bathroom recovered its original character in the ceiling and moldings, adding new fixtures and fittings.

The apartment retains its original herringbone pine flooring in the rest of the rooms, restored as part of the overall renovation.
